            The School Board of BUENA VISTA CITY derives its authority from the Constitution of Virginia, the Code of Virginia, and the regulations of the State Board of Education.

 

            The Buena Vista City School Board members are officers of the Commonwealth.

 

            The Buena Vista City School Board governs the school division.

 

            The School Board is a corporate body whose official title shall be “BUENA VISTA CITY SCHOOL BOARD".
